About UIBE SIE Short-Term Academic Programs

To meet the increasing demand for international university-level study experience, the School of International Education established UIBE SIE Short-Term Academic Programs (SSAP). As a part of the curriculum of the University of International Business and Economics, SIE Short-Term Academic Programs open to UIBE students, international students, and high school students. For UIBE students, the credits they earned in the Programs can be used in their degree program.

In order to build up international, innovative and open Short-Term Academic Programs, UIBE SSAP invite professors from prestigious universities all around the world, including UC Berkeley, University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill, University of Rochester and other top universities.

UIBE SSAP will open Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter programs, offering courses in Art History, History, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, English, Accounting, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science & Natural Sciences etc.

Each class has an enrollment limit of 60 students. The classes are conducted by a combination of teaching methods including in-class lecture, research, and case discussion. Students are also expected to participate in internships and field studies. Student grades will follow the UIBE's relevant academic regulations and rules.
